Alright, good afternoon everyone. Afternoon brother, coming. Oh, it's poison. Okay, uh Before we get started, I had a few people ask me where the camera lady was. If y'all wouldn't mind please pray for her family and her mom? She is currently with her mom right now. Mom is going through some health issues and she's in a tough place right now. Please keep my wife and her family in purge. Please approach my mother-in-law. But that's where the camera lady is right now for everybody who asked. Concerned. So we appreciate your concerns at this time. Thank you all very much for praying for it. But here we are. Thank y'all for coming to hear God's word. We've been going through the book of Genesis and we've been learning about how our mighty and powerful God created the heavens and the earth. Just by speaking them into existence. Oh, God has such a great study. It's amazing. This is wonderful. Last week we looked at the first three words in verse 14 of chapter 1 in the book of Genesis, which says, And God said, God speaks, and things happen, folks. God speaks truth, God speaks forgiveness, and God speaks righteous judgment. Amen. These are three things that mankind should take note of and follow as God has taught us. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much, Lord, for your precious word, Lord. We thank you so much, Lord, for each and every person that's come here today to hear your word, Father. And I pray, Lord, that you'll teach each and every person that's come here today, Christ. Bless them with understanding, Father. We Lord, thank you so much, Lord, for all that you do, Father. For all you do is good, Lord. We just pray that you'll teach us here today, Lord. Let your Holy Spirit teach here today, Father. We thank you so much, Lord, for Jesus, and in His name we pray. Amen. Amen. All right. These are three things that mankind should take note of and follow as God has taught us through His Word. We are going to get very serious very quickly here this afternoon. So please be very attentive. Don't want nobody missing nothing today. Why does mankind have a problem with speaking truth, with forgiveness, and with righteous judgment? Before we've gone further, I'm going to turn that. always my draw because it will bother me yeah you sure ma'am well thank you very much Parkmen get very serious with a very loud noise going on. So sorry about that. Okay, back to our lesson here. Why are we going to get very serious very quickly here this afternoon, so please be very attentive. Why does mankind have a problem with speaking the truth with forgiveness and with righteous judgment? Because of our sinful nature and carnal lust, which we inherited from our parents With the same sinful nature and carnal lust who inherited the same nature from their parents all the way back to Adam and Eve who originally passed this nature down to us when we were born into this corrupt and sinful world. If it wasn't for the grace of our God, we would have no hope. 1 Corinthians 15, 21. For since by man came death. By men came also the resurrection of the dead. 1 Corinthians 15, 22, for as in Adam all die. All of us die. Because of Adam and Eve's sin, they brought death into the world. Before Adam and Eve sinned, there was no death, was there? After they sinned, they brought sin into the world. God told them, For in the day that thou eatest of that tree, thou shalt surely die. They brought sin into the world. Even so in Christ shall all be made alive. That's the same all. That are in Adam, that die. Through your faith, you can be part of that all that lives. Hebrews 9, 27 says, And as it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment. There are four things that I can think of off the top of my head that each and every person in this world has in common. We all have this in common. I don't care what color you are, if you are a male or a female, or if you're rich or poor. We are all sinners in need of forgiveness. We are all going to die someday. We are all going to be judged. Number three. And we all, we will all have the chance for every grown adult. We will all have the chance to accept or deny Christ as our Savior. You say, Brother Doug, what about all them tribes up in Africa that have never heard the gospel? What about all them people who have never heard that Jesus died for their sins? I want to tell you right now, folks, there's not going to be an adult one. Standing in front of God at the judgment seat, the great white throne of judgment. That's going to stand there and be able to tell God in the truth: Lord, I've never had a chance. To know Jesus as my Savior. Jesus has not come back yet, has he? The gospel is not through traveling through this world yet, folks. There's not going to be a person one, a grown adult, that has the ability to understand, that will be standing in front of God in judgment and tell God in truth. That he did not have a chance. I did not have a chance, Lord. I did not have a chance. Each and every person has a chance. But Jesus has not come back yet. And I can't help but think, I wonder. If that might be one of the reasons why Christ hasn't come back yet, because the gospel isn't finished going throughout this world yet. All those tribes that people say, well, what about the tribes that are up there in Africa? I want to tell you folks. That's just because there's one tribe out there that hadn't heard it. There is a tribe that has heard it. And if you don't think that tribe that has heard it, it's not telling others. Then you're mistaken. I can promise you that there is somebody in one of those lost tribes up there that knows the gospel. He is telling, or she is telling, somebody else. And that person is telling somebody else. So that one tribe that you're saying that never heard the gospel, give it time. You just give it time. I do believe that each and every person in the world will have the chance to accept Jesus or deny Jesus. Now that is each and every person that is of age to understand. Thank God for missionaries. That's right. The gospel is traveling all over the world. The internet nowadays is pushing it through. People are pushing it through. It's not over with yet. So I do honestly believe that nobody's going to be able to stand there in truth and tell God I never had a chance, Father. I don't believe that there'll be anybody there to say. Ain't nobody here today can say that because I'm telling you, Jesus Christ died for your sins. None of y'all can stand before the Lord and tell him, I didn't have a chance, I never heard it. If you believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior, your mission, folks, is to tell others. Jesus told us to tell others. Your king has commanded you to go and tell others about Jesus, dying for their sins. I was talking with a wonderful woman this morning who I love very much. And she's in this room right now. And I'm not going to mention her name because I don't want to embarrass her. She was telling me bits and pieces of the Bible. And her confession was that Jesus died for her sins. I said, Praise God, honey. That's all you need to know to tell somebody else. All you need to know is Jesus Christ died for your sins. You don't have to know ever gotten tidal in the bible to know each and every word and what it means in greek and hebrew and chaldean to be able to tell others jesus christ loves you so much jesus christ died for your sins So you could have forgiveness of your sins. You don't have to be a Bible scholar to tell others And I thank the Lord for that because I'm definitely not a Bible scholar. I want to know more and more and more about it. And I don't know near as much as I want to know. But I know enough to tell people Jesus Christ died for your sins. That's what you got to tell them, folks. There's not going to be nobody can stand before the Lord and tell them they didn't have a chance. Christ is God's grace, folks. Christ is the gift of God. You can choose to accept God's gift and be forgiven of your sins. Or you can choose to reject God's gift and not be forgiven of your sins. die in your sins and face the judgment to come to all those who have chosen to reject God's forgiveness. And God said, I love those three words And if you know Christ is your Savior, I bet you do too because those words mean truth. And that is something you can run to while you are here in this old deceitful World. You can run to the truth of God, folks. Amen. In the book of John, chapter 18, verses 37 through 40. Oh, this is wonderful. Jesus is brought before Pilate. Pilate was a ruler among the Romans. Jesus is brought to Pilate to be tried and sentenced to death by crucifixion. Jesus tells him the truth. And like so many other people in this world, Pilate refuses to believe the truth. John 18:37. Jesus is before Pilate. Is that the one who said I was going to handle it? That's right, you got it. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. He said, but he didn't believe. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him. What is truth? What is truth? And when he had said this. He went out again unto the Jews. Pilate was talking with Jesus. After he talked with Jesus, he went back out to this big mob of people out there. Big, bloodthirsty, bunch of sinners. He went back out to these people. He went out again unto the Jews and saith unto them. I find in him no fault at all. Pilate was looking at a sinless man, right there, folks. If there would have been me standing up there before Pilate, Pilate would have gone out there to the Jews and says, I find fault in him. This man is a sinner. This man is messed up. He is a sinner. If it would have been the camera lady. Or the song leader, or any of you here, Pilate would have gone out and said, I find fault in them. But he didn't find fault in Jesus. Because Jesus was sinless. I find in him no fault at all. No reason to crucify him. But he's talking to the Jews and he says, but ye have a custom. Ye have a custom. Will ye therefore that I release unto you the king of the Jews? They had a custom at Passover. They could release one of those convicted. One of the prisoners they could release at Passover. Pilot went out and asked him, you want me to release him? Will ye therefore that I release unto you the king of the Jews? Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, not Jesus. But Barabbas Barabbas What does it say here? Now Barabbas was a rock was a robot Barabbas was a sinner. Folks, take out the name Barabbas for just a second and put your name there. Now Brother Doug was a sinner. Now the camera lady was a sinner. Now Brother Ray was a sinner. Put your name there. He could have just as been easily saying that about you and I. We are all sinners. Jesus Christ has never sinned. I find no fault in this man. What I want you to see here is that Christ went to the cross to be crucified. What happened to the sinner? He was set free. He was set free. Thank you, Jesus. Jesus went and died and the sinner was set free. Christ took the sinner's punishment and the sinner was set free. Barabbas did not receive the punishment that he deserved because Christ took his place. Now replace the name Barabbas again with your name. Brother Doug is not going to receive the punishment that he deserves because Christ took my place. The camera lady is not going to receive the punishment she deserves because Charge took her place. The song leader is not going to receive the punishment he deserves because Christ took his place. By faith we believe the truth. John 8, 36, and I love this. Thank you, God. If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Indeed. Christ went to the cross and the sinner was set free. That's good. Now let's get back to our verses, Genesis chapter 1, verse 14, which says, And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years. Now let me ask you a question. Why do you think God gave us signs and seasons and days and years? Even we do. We're going to get more into that in the next lesson, I hope, of God willing. But for now, I mean, so far, so far in our study. Everything that God has created in our study here so far in the book of Genesis does not need to know all that, does it? That water could care less what day it is, and the grass and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit would have not known the difference at the time. I think that in God's infinite wisdom, He knew that after He created mankind, that mankind would fall to sin. He knew that mankind would need to have day and night, signs, seasons, days and years. God is omniscient. Which is a fancy word for all knowing. God has complete, infinite, and perfect knowledge of all things. Psalms 147 verse 5. Great is our Lord and of great power. His understanding is infinite. There is no number that you can place on the knowledge of our God, folks. There is no number that you can place on the power of our God, folks. He is all-powerful and his works are more than you can count. Psalms 40, verse 5. Many O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to usward. They cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. Through God's omniscience, he knew mankind would need all of these things mentioned here in verse 14. And praise God, he also knew that mankind wouldn't need a savior because he knew that mankind would sin against him. 1 Peter 1. 18 as we start to wind this down, folks. For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold from our vain conversation, received by tradition from your fathers. but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, who verily was foredained Before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for who? You. Was manifest in these last times for you who by him do believe in God. You believe in the Savior. You believe in the one who sent you this way. Who by him do believe in God that raised him from the dead and gave him glory that your Father That your faith and hope might be in God. If you are here today or watching us through the internet Thinking that you would like to know Christ as your Savior, but maybe you're thinking that you have done something that just can't be forgiven. Maybe you're thinking that it is just not possible for you to be forgiven, or something else might be holding you back. I've got a verse for you. God's got a verse for you. Luke 1:37. For with God nothing shall be impossible. Amen. Praise your name, Lord. For with God, nothing shall be impossible. If you get that through your head, folks. You got to have to battle your cry. Hey, man. Nothing is impossible for God. God is all-powerful. Don't let the devil talk you into thinking that you can't be forgiven. He talked Eve into eating that up. Don't let him talk you in an axiom forgiveness. Away God. Nothing. Shall be impossible. That includes you being forgiven, dear friend. It is possible. The other day a man at my work asked me if I thought that if Judas Iscariot Would have come to Jesus and asked for forgiveness. Would Jesus have forgiven him? This man who asked me this Thought that Jesus would not have forgiven him because he sold Jesus out for 30 pieces of silver and betrayed him. I told this man who asked me this. That I believe that Jesus would have forgiven him. The problem was that Judas never came and asked for forgiveness. Judas died in his sins because he never came and asked for forgiveness, folks. There is no sin. Oh, I'd like to say also after I told this man that I could see the wheels turning in his mind. He got up on the forklift and went on. Didn't have another word to say to him. But I could tell that that made him think. And I hope that makes you think also, folks, if you think that you can't be forgiven. I do believe Jesus would have been forgiven if he would have just came and asked for it. The Bible says, seek and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be open unto you. There is no sin you have committed that was not paid for by the shed blood of Christ on the cross and that includes the sins of Judas Iscariot But he did not believe, and therefore he died in his sin. We'll close with these two verses today, folks. Acts 13:38 through 39. Be it known unto you, therefore be it known unto you, therefore, talking to all of us. Men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins. That's for the S. And by him all A double L L A double L L A double L That's a bunch of all living. All and by him all that believe Are justified from all things. I'm gonna say it again. And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which he could not be justified by the law of Moses. Jesus Christ died for each and every sin you committed, folks. Oh, there is no joy like salvation joy. Amen. Judas died in his sins because he did not seek forgiveness of those sins. That was his choice. Please, folks, don't let that be your choice too. Seek ye therefore the kingdom of God and his righteousness. That's God's word. And God said, I love those three words, folks. I love that. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much, Lord, for each and every person that's come today, Lord, to hear your word taught, Father. And I pray, Lord, that each and every ear was attended. That they all were blessed, Father. And Lord, we just pray that the saints were edified, Lord, and that the lost were pointed to you, Father. Thank you, God, for your precious word, Lord. Thank you for this wonderful lesson that you blessed us with here today, Father. Lord, we just thank you so much, Lord. Father, oh, thank you, Lord. Father, I want to pray for my mother-in-law, Lord, that she's. Suffering with their health ailments, Lord. We just pray your will be done. We pray for my wife and safe passage for her, her family, Lord. We just pray, Lord, that you'll be with them at this time, Lord. Let them know you're there with them, Lord. Just let them know you've got them, Lord, in your hands, Father. Oh Lord, we just thank you Lord for all your blessings, for all that you do, Lord, for all you do is good. Oh Lord, thank you so much. We just love you and praise your name, Father. Lord, all glory to you, Lord. We pray that you will glorify it here today, Lord. We want to pray for the caregivers that are here, father. Pray, Lord, that they'll take care of these folks, Lord, the way you want them to be taken care of, Lord. We thank you and love you so much. Thank you for Brother Ray stepping in. We want Brother Larry. I want to pray for Brother Larry as well, Lord. His health elements, and his family, too, Lord. Thank you so much, Lord. We love you. Oh, Lord, thank you, and in Jesus' name today, Lord, we'll pray amen.
